Clarksville, Tennessee is a legendary place. The city’s rich history flows through their riverfront and gorgeous downtown architecture, but it's also prevalent in their people. Home to two Olympic athletes -- both of whom were trailblazers, champions, and indisputable legends  -- Clarksville is also home to an Army division filled with some of bravest men and women on the planet.

The determination and tenacity found in Pat Head Summitt, Wilma Rudolph, and the troops who serve at Fort Campbell, are what propels the city forward while honoring its past. (Read about these are other impressive Clarksville Connections here.)

Although it’s one of Tennessee’s oldest cities, founded in 1784, Clarksville is also one of the state's youngest cities with a median age of 30. In Clarksville, this blending of heritage and hipster yields an energy and vibrancy that you just have to experience for yourself. You’ll feel it most downtown, where you’ll find a new Downtown Commons park, new restaurants and shops, new public art, breweries and more!

Clarksville’s natural scenic beauty is an attraction itself. The Cumberland River with its dramatically vivid sunsets and vistas, the Clarksville Greenway and Blueway, along with many parks and trail systems render visitors and residents guaranteed memorable experiences.

The Miss Tennessee and Tennessee Teen USA pageants will be held at Austin Peay State University’s Music & Mass Communications Building. “Clarksville and Miss Tennessee have teamed together for 20 years,” said Visit Clarksville Executive Director Theresa Harrington. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to continue hosting the pageant and introducing these ladies and their families to Clarksville.”
