Megan Ski Hollingsworth is a 17 year old senior at Marshall County High School. She also attends Columbia State Community College via Dual Enrollment. Megan Ski will be the first to graduate Marshall County High School with her high school diploma as well as her Associates Degree. She is a cheerleader for her high school and is involved in the following clubs: BETA, Phi Theta Kappa, Interact, Future Business Leaders of America, Teen Court and Sub Deb Sorority. In her spare time she enjoys painting and volunteering in her hometown of Lewisburg where she and her friend Katie talk to teens about the importance of being an organ donor. Katie was a heart recipient when she was only eight years old and this motivated the two of them to form an outreach called A Heart for Katie.
Megan Ski also volunteers at the Care Kitchen and the assisted living center where she helps with activities. She has a special place in her heart for the elderly. She enjoys collecting nutcrackers, shopping and browsing Pinterest! After high school, Megan Ski plans to transfer to Middle Tennessee State Community College where she will pursue her Master’s Degree in Business Administration. After college Megan Ski plans to manage an assisted living center where she can work with the residents that she has grown to love so much! She would like to use her title of Miss Tennessee Teen USA to work directly with the youth of the state of Tennessee to explain the importance of being an organ donor. If Megan Ski could give one piece of advice to her peers it would be to never give up on your dreams. With hard work, anything is possible!
