Top 15 - MISS TEEN USA® 2019
Bailey Guy is a 16 year-old junior at Hendersonville High School who enjoys boating, public speaking, and playing tennis. Along with maintaining Straight A’s, she holds numerous leadership positions in her school and is an active member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Future Business Leaders of America, DECA, Beta Club, and National Honor Society.
The importance of education is very close to her heart, and at the age of 12, Bailey became a literacy advocate and created her own organization, “Be a Reader, Be a Leader.” This program was developed with the intent of instilling a love for reading in children across Tennessee. She loves volunteering and reading at local elementary schools, preschools, and daycares.
Last year she hosted a book drive that gave her the opportunity to donate over 400 books to children in her community, and one of her main goals as Miss Tennessee Teen USA 2019 is to have a 2nd book drive, with a goal of donating at least 2,000 books to kids across the state.
Bailey has a deep desire to make those around her feel special and loved, and it is her sincerest hope to use this year to be an inspiration and source of encouragement to everyone she meets. Bailey plans to approach this year with a grateful heart, enthusiasm and compassion, and promises to make those sharing this journey with her proud! She is incredibly honored to have been selected as Miss Tennessee Teen USA and cannot wait to represent her state at Miss Teen USA!
